About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Site Service Technician to join our team based in Braeside. In this role, you will service, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial roller doors, including their associated control systems. This position is ideal for a qualified tradesperson, such as a Mechanical Fitter, looking to apply their technical skills in a dynamic mobile service environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and repair industrial roller doors, shutters, and automation systems.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and electrical control issues on-site.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections for clients.
- Install replacement parts and upgrade door control units.
- Complete service reports accurately using digital tablets or paperwork.
- Provide excellent service and clear communication to clients on-site. [1, 2]
Required Skills and Experience
- Trade qualification required (e.g., Mechanical Fitter, Electrician, or similar).
- Proven experience servicing roller doors and control systems is highly preferred.
- Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical and basic electrical systems.
- Current Manual Driver’s Licence to operate the company service vehicle.
- Valid White Card for accessing various commercial and industrial sites.
